Ultimate Guide to The 2014 BALTIMORE Cultural and Ethnic Festivals Baltimore is a city with a mix of cultures, ethnicities and traditions dating back to when it was founded in the early 1700's. The diverse culture is celebrated every year with festivals starting in June and running through November. Ethnic festivals throughout the area celebrate the many cultures including Irish, Italian, Russian, Polish, Caribbean, Latin American, African American, Greek and more. The ethnic communities bring vibrancy and tradition to the Baltimore area and people from all over come to celebrate during festival time. Greek Folk Festival Feast of St. Anthony June 7th - 8th June 5th - 6th the St. Nicholas GREEK 2014 +FOLK festival و کا - BASKETS The St. Nicholas Greek Folk Festival, which takes place at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, celebrates the rich culture, music and culinary heritage of the Greek people. The festival has Greek food, pastries, folk dancing, Greek dancing, live music and entertainment. The admission There are two Italian festivals during the summer in Baltimore's Little Italy neighborhood. The Feast of St. Anthony starts off the summer. The event is hosted by St. Leo's Church. There is live Latin music ranging from salsa to mariachi, dancers, arts and crafts displays, food, a rock climbing wall, children's activities and much more. The event is put on by Education Based Latino Outreach. HONfest BAWLMER 2014 Honfest is a Baltimore local tradition that takes place on 4 blocks of the Hampden neighborhood. It celebrates the Baltimore working women. You will see beehive hairdos and make-up contests for young and old. There is also food and entertainment for the entire family. African-American Festival June 21st -22nd Caribbean Carnival American July 12th - 13th African The African American Feştival iş held at the Camden Yards Sports Complex between Lots B & C. The Festival celebrates the many traditions and heritage of the Russian people. Enjoy traditional Russian food, music,crafts, dance and more.
