Early Childhood Education Facts

Early Childhood Education Facts Although some academic learning can take place in preschool, children benefit primarily from the social aspects of early educational settings. Kids who received high-quality early childhood education are more likely to own a home, have a job and earn at least $5,000 per year more than a comparable group who didn't receive pre-kindergarten education. Children who participate in early education programs grow up to be healthier and wealthier than their peers who did not. Children in quality preschool programs are less likely to repeat grades, need special education, or get into future trouble with the law. By the age of three, your toddler will have developed around 1,000 trillion connections between the cells in her brain, which is around twice as many as the average adult!
