US customs lists 2012 top fakes, sources of seizures

IPR SEIZURES BY US CUSTOMS IPR noose stays tight US customs seized more than $1.2 billion worth of commodities in 2012. Most of the products came from China. Number of seizures (2002-12) 27,000 IPR seizures in 2012 numbered 22,848 and were valued at $1.26 billion. The value of seized cargo, however, is about three times more than commodities sent through mail and courier.
