Of the 25 countries surveyed by Ipsos, Australia is in eight place. It is now similarly placed to two of its major trading partners - India and China, which both experienced a decrease in consumer confidence over the past month - China to 59% and India to 60%. Australia continues to rank well above the average of 38%, and is well ahead of several of its other top trading partners - the United States (31% describing their economy as 'good'), South Korea (18%) and Japan (18%). dan [email protected] y@Danlpsos SRI
