Thank you for looking at the stock investing infographic by CashSherpa. There’s no denying it, you stuck at investing. At least you suck according to these statistics showing the returns of an inves...
tor that strays away from an indexing strategy. If you have some education when it comes to investing I’m sure these statistics don’t apply to you. See the infographic below for proof that most people aren’t as good at investing as they may think. The statistics for the infographic come from the Longboard Asset Management. They looked at the returns of 3,000 stocks from 1983 to 2007. They show how the odds are stacked againsts the investor who strays from an indexing strategy. The infographic shows that 39% of stocks were unprofitable investments. 64% of stocks underperformed the index. 19% of stocks lost at least 75% of their value. 25% of stocks were responsible for all the market gains. Home, inflation, international stocks, bonds, gold, stocks, and oil all did better than the average investor. Please comment , share, post, Tweet, Facebook, etc. this infographic. I thought these statistics were very compelling and deserved an infographic of their own. Please let me know what you think of the infographic and once again thanks for checking it out.
