Each dog receives veterinary care since most require vaccinations or deworming. The dogs must be rehabilitated before they can be spayed or neutered by the veterinarian. While in foster care, dogs are monitored for any behaviors that require them to be placed in a forever home that provides for special needs. They are socialized in their foster homes so they can learn to trust humans and become friendly towards children and other animals. Once the dog has received veterinary care and has been monitored by their foster home, they are deemed ready for adoption. If it is a good match, Lara's Canine Solutions completes a final review of the application to approve the family to adopt the dog. If a family decides they are interested in adopting, they submit an application and a meeting time is set up to interact with the dog.
