They work to ensure that the offender is not a danger to the community and to help in their rehabilitation. Probation officers write reports that detail each offender's treatment plan and their progress since being put on probation. Most work exclusively with either adults or juveniles. The median annual wage for probation officers was $48,190 in May 2015. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $31,590, and the top 10 percent earned more than $83,410. Judicial Administrator Provides a broad range of legislative, legal, financial, technology, management, administrative, and program support services to federal courts. The Judicial Administrator is responsible for carrying out Judicial Conference policies and provides staff support and counsel to the Judicial Conference and its committees. 48% of these officers are female and 52% of them are male according to 2015 data.
