There are many ways that are used by parents to change the behavior of their kid. In this way, most of them make mistakes where they attempt those tactics to control their kid which could hamper their...
thoughts badly. Here we have provided "Top Parenting Mistakes - When Your Gestures Aren't Right" to communicate your kid.
Here we go!
Break Your Own Rules
Choosing wrong rules to let your kid follow. You should make only those rules which are supposed to be positive enough to make the best impact on his/her mind and habit.
Lose It
Taking care of a toddler demands a lot of patience, so never lose your control and make a proper balance between your temper. Many times a normal talk can do a more than you expect.
Telling Lies
When your kid makes a fuss about anything, then you should never make lies to him/her. Making lies and telling some fake stories to create a terror with a view to listening to you may work for that time, not for longer time. Your kid may start disbelieving you if he/she come to know your lie.
Bribing them too much
Ryan has never been a good eater. He always made a fuss when it comes to eating his vegetable. So, I gave him a piece of chocolate for every time he finished his lunch. This worked wonderfully until one day when the preschool teacher complained about how Ryan kept asking for chocolate and that he refused to eat his lunch. Now whenever I want him to eat, he asks for a treat.
Many mothers do bribe their kid by offering some candy or chocolate after accomplishing some task. In this way, your kid develops a sense that to get complete a task bribing is no more a bad thing.
Closing Thoughts
Never ever enforce rules and never be so strict, it might encourage your kid to rebel. Despite this implement rules by following by yourself. Showing some liberty is the best way to encourage your kid to listen to you.
