Although this disorder is not as recognizable to the general public as anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa, it is still a serious illness that affects many people all across the United States. In fact, the incidence of binge eating disorder has been increasing in recent years, and it is now the most common eating disorder diagnosed.
