There is no doubt that no one can love a pet like the owner does, even using the word owner is not right because the ones who own the pets they consider them as their own child. But, there are some di...
fficulties in case the owner has to go somewhere, and taking the pet along is not possible. It is obviously difficult for the owners and the pet to manage in this situation because both of them are used to each other’s company. But, still in case the owner has to leave the pet at home and has to go then there is a guide that can explain the taking care of a pet. But all of the owners are aware of the hurdles that they have to face while they are away from their vets.
The option an owner has for pets:
No matter you are going away for a day or a month, the only options an owner has are that they appoint someone trustworthy to stay at home and take care of the pet, more like a baby sitter. Another option is that you can leave the pet at someone else’s place like a friend or family member but you have to keep in mind that it is difficult for the pets to manage at a new place and new person you should consider leaving them with the person they are already familiar with.
Keep the pet at home:
Thepetpractice told us that as the pet is familiar with the place and environment of the owner’s won house it is suggested to leave them there with a care-taker. The care taker should make sure to follow the same behavior and routine as the owner. In a routine we mean the meals, the walk, the exercise or the playing habits. There is no doubt that a pet can go through severe depression if they are not treated well. The care taker should be given with the written instructions about each and every minor detail on the pet and should be followed accordingly.
Make the pet familiar:
All the pets ask only for the proper attention and love, the one who is new to the pet should try their best to make sure that they are trying to make friends with the pet. It is suggested to the owner that if they are appointing a new care taker and they are going to be away for a lot of days then in their presence they should try to make the care taker familiar with the pet, before leaving.
Routine checkups:
The proper examination of the pet’s health is important because when the owner is away the pet are likely to develop health issues as they are attached to their owners there is a need to make sure that the pet is happy and healthy. The pet should be taken to the family vet always in order to maintain the proper health.
