Four wheel disc brakes came standard at this time with new front and rear bumpers, interior trim, wing mirrors and smoked tail lights. 1989: The R32 Skyline was available in 4 door sedan or 2 door coupe and the 2.5 liter GTS25 was one of the first Japanese car with 5-speed automatic transmission. It had a body style similar to a station wagon inspired by the Nissan Avenir. SKYLINE 1993: The engine in the R33 is almost iden- tical to the R32 and used the exact same turbochargers for the manual gearbox. Even so, the syncros were made stronger and the weak oil pump of the R32 was corrected. A special edition of the R33 was also released called the 40OOR where the R stood for SKYLINE "racing" and allowed a top speed of over 186 mph. utoevolučion 1998: The more fuel efficient model was introduced at this time and it was a positive that it was more environmentally friendly. Nissan discontinued the RB20E engine and was powered by RB20DE NEO with a 5 speed gearbox. This made it the most fuel efficient Skyline ever, even to this day. NISSAN 2009: The GT-R is the successor for the Skyline, even though it's not considered part of the Skyline range. The GT-R has round tail lights, four-wheel drive, and twin-turbo 6 cylinder engine. The GT-R reflects Japanese culture and isn't a copy of European cars. Car Spec and Info are base on Wiki
