BlackBerry, despite rebranding themselves from their RIM brand a couple of years ago, have continued to fall further behind the likes of Apple, Samsung, HTC and Sony when it comes to their position in...
the smart phone market.
It appears that their final move is to focus on innovation, after the likes of the Z10 left a lot to be desired when it came to standing out from competition.
The BlackBerry Fold has a fold out physical keyboard that flips around from the back of the phone, attaching magnetically when not in use.
The folds are incredibly sturdy thanks to discreet metal hinges, meaning the folds won’t move from your preferred position once you lay it out, and it can even act as a stand for when you’re watching videos.
Along with the external keyboard and dedicated buttons for LinkedIn, the stock exchange and more, there are also BlackBerry Messenger emoji options, along with Bebo and MySpace buttons on the folds that can’t be seen in the promotional shots.
It's clear that the company is trying to hit the two demographics that they were so successful with a few years ago; professional business people, and teenage girls, with the design available in matte black and bright pink.
