This helmet, eye protection, and full- means wearing a fingered gloves. The simple fact is that you will more than likely have an accident and take a tumble. BE PREDICTABLY Swerving in and out of the traffic lane is a recipe for accidents. Take the lane when necessary, to avoid the door zone, or just to prevent a driver from passing you too close. BRING WATER OR A HYDRATION PACK When out biking you need to keep hydrated during your ride. Always bring plenty of water, as you are going to need it even consider using a hydration pack. OBEY THE RULES OF THE ROAD LAW The rules of the road are there for a reason. Many places are starting to catch on and have rules for the cyclist. Generally, the same rules for a motorist are the same for cyclists. KNOW YOUR TRAIL If you don't know the trail very well, then don't push the limits on trails. Start off with slow speeds until you get familiar with the trails, then you can start pushing the limits.
