GOLF ETIQUETTE When Visiting a Country Club It's important that guest golfers at country clubs have proper etiquette on the course as well as in the club house. We've got some etiquette advice to help you fit in and make the most of your visit. 1 Preparation Before getting to the country club, make sure that you have checked with an official or the member who is sponsoring you to make sure you understand club policies such as: Tipping - Is it prohibited or encouraged? Dress Code - What type of clothing is required and what is banned? • Payment - Is cash accepted or is card the only form of payment?
