It sits at the top of one of the seven hills, directly to the east of the city centre and the railway station. In 1980, the reputation of Park Hill's social housing had been affected by poverty and crime, but in 1997 a regeneration company called 'Urban Splash' set about the task of redeveloping the building for the 21st century. 合 合 PHASE 1: n Back in 2013, phase 1 of the regeneration project involved building 260 homes, 10 workspaces & 1 nursery into the derelict structure. PHASE 2: In 2017, phase 2 received planning permission for a further 200 homes, including the conversion of a 7,200 sq metre unit into an art gallery. 大 PHASE 3: The final phase will see the creation of 350 new student homes, including a common room, study centre, laundry room, cinema & a gym.
