HIGH RISK CREDIT CARD PROCESSING HOW IT WORKS SHOPPING CART STEP 1 The customer makes a purchase STEP 2 They pay using a credit card PAYMENT GATEWAY STEP 3 STEP 4 The merchant submits a credit card transaction The Payment Gateway sends off the secure transaction to the Processor THE PROCESSOR STEP 5 STEP 6 The Processor sends transaction to the credit card The processor send the gateway approval or decline network. They send the transaction to the customer's cc bank which approves or denies. MERCHANT ACCO UNT STEP 7 STEP 8 The approval desision is sent back to the website and merchant. The customer's bank sends money to the cc network which sends it to the merchant bank. PAINLESSprocessing
