4 SIMPLE STEPS TO START Social media has taught us that a single tweet can build or destroy an organization's trust with its stakeholders. Social media has ushered in a transparency revolution. A TRUST MEASUREMENT SYSTEM So, how can you begin to measure trust in your organization? 1 SET BOUNDARIES Who and What will you measure? Set SMART goals: Define the publics and stakeholders with which you want to build trust. Carefully define the persons you are interested in and understand what is important to them. S pecific Measureable A ttainable Realisitc Timebound WHO WHAT ESTABLISH METRICS How will you measure? Set a benchmark Choose your metrics 1 Activity END 2 Аttitude BEGIN What do you want to compare results to? Before beginning the program, you would conduct a trust measurement survey to establish a benchmark. 3 Outcome CHOOSE YOUR TOOLS What will you use to measure? Do some digging Customize Stay SMART Dig around within your organization to find out what data already exists. There is no one-size-fits-all tool. You'll have to customize the tools for your organization. Your choice of tool depends on your objectives and the type of metrics you choose. Remember the SMART goals! 4. GET TO WORK Time to measure and analyze Analyze results Failure first Lead the leaders The most important part of measurement is to analyze the data and learn from it. Measure failure first.
