5 Things in Your Bathroom You Think They Work (but actually don't)

5 Things in Your Bathroom You Think They Work (but actually don t) #1. øShampoo Shampoos actually damage the hair a lot more than they help, because they strip away the protective layer around it. That's why too frequent washing is bad for your hair. Solution. Try to wash your hair at least 2 or 3 times a week. More would only have bad long term results. In fact, cleaners Morden state that there isn't that much of a difference between a hair shampoo and a carpet shampoo. #2. Mouthwash The mouthwash is alcohol based and even though alcohol is proved to kill microbes and cleanse a surface - your mouth is NOTa table you wipe off during your weekly cleaning. It dries the mouth, which makes it vulnerable to even more bacteria assaults. Solution. Just brush your teeth, tongue and floss. Also drink more water – the moist your mouth is, the better protected. #8. Anti Aging Greams These DO NOT work, no matter what cosmetic companies say. All anti Aging cremes do is strip away the old layer of skin and reveal the new layer, which definitely looks healthier, but is also vulnerable to microbes and bacteria. This can result in even more damage, but even if it doesn't, the new layer soon will become an old layer and the pointless cycle repeats. Slolution. You can't turn the aging process the other way - you can only slow it down. To do that, lead a healthy life – eat healthy foods, do exercise and drink lots of water. #4. Guticde Scissors Cutting off, or pushing away your cuticles doesn't make your nails look better. In fact, it only leaves them open for infections, which can turn your nails into a really disgusting display (don't google it if you have a weak heart). Sotution. Just don't. #5. Whitening Soap Whitening your skin is pretty pointless, when you consider the bad side effects. One of them is mercury – an ingredient which can lead to long term skin problems, kidney problems, sometimes even nerve problems. Solution. There's no point in using any product to change the color of your skin. If you want to bleach a certain spot, or acne, make sure to talk to a dermatologist first. Thanks for Reading!

Here are 5 items you can find in every bathroom, yet they don't do their job like everyone thinks. Special thanks to Morden's cleaning team for giving me this idea. I dedicate this to you, guys!
