TRICK OR TREAT Halloween is coming! Straddling the line between fall and winter, plenty and paucity, life and death, Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. Over the history, Halloween evolved into a secular, community-based event like gatherings, costumes, and child-friendly activities such as trick-or-treating. What is Halloween all bout? Halloween is a yearly holiday that has been celebrated for centuries. In America they observed it on October 31, the eve before the Western Christian feast of All Hallows. The word Halloween originated from Hallowe'en or also known as All Hallows' Eve. SAMHAIN NIGHT In Ireland, where Halloween originated, children get dressed up in costumes and spend the evening "trick-or-treating" in their neighborhoods.
