ITALY'S 1GRITURISMO Some Facts about Italy's Tourism & Farm House Resorts "AGRITURISMO" an accommodation offered by independently-owned farms. To be considered an agriturismo, more than half of the farm's income must come from farming activities. Tourists are accommodated in facilities no longer used for farming purposes. Almost 21.000 Agriturismi exist in Italy TUSCANY has about 20% of this number (41% of which are run by women) followed by Trentino Alto Adige (15%) Tuscany is the 10th most popularly visited region in all of Europe.
