Inappropriate Childrens Costumes

INAPPROPRIATE CHILDREN'S COSTUMES How Far Will You Let Your Kids Go? From Lady Gaga to Lil Pimp, kids are asking for some boundary pushing costumes these days. How far is too far? Below is a break down of some of the most inappropriate costumes for kids to wear. THE LIL PIMP 2 THE CURRENT CATWOMAN If you really want your kid to win the neighborhood Halloween contest make sure to dress them up as a 1970s style pimp, complete with a leopard collar and wide-brim crush-velvet hat. However, it may not be the best idea to send him walking after dark, lest the local P.D. mistake him for an actual pimp. If Halle Berry received bad publicity for her all-too-racy catwoman suit, or lack there of, it is doubtful that a children's version of that costume would go over any better. If your child is still adamant about dressing-up as the Cape Crusader's ultimate female nemesis why not try a style more akin to Eartha Kitt or Michelle Pheiffer? A teenager might be able to sneak past with something from Bad Romance or Poker Face, perhaps it is better to think twice before using the same costume for anyone under the age of 5. Unless your two year old is spouting off rhymes comparable to Jay-Z or Eminem, there is no justification for dressing them up as a rap star. Stick with something a little more wholesome, like an R&B singer. If they are indeed spouting off rhymes do what any normal parent would do, grab the video camera and put it on Youtube. Dressing your kids up as their worst nightmare will undoubtedly add a little fun to their night of trick or treat and any future sleepless nights they might have. A word of warning, make sure you have enough money to cover their future therapy bill. Dressing a baby up as an animal or vegetable may be adorable, but dressing your baby up as a Red Lobster commercial may draw some hesitant glares from friends and family. You can stick with the lobster suit, just ditch the metal boiling pot. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for social services. OK. Your child wants to dress up as a Rockstar? Maybe. Your child wants to dress up as a leopard and gold lame trailer-park karaoke diva reject from American Idol? Maybe you better think twice. You also may want to start closely monitoring what they are watching on television. Besides the fact that the whoopie cushion is a commonplace costume choice, it is also possibly the most traumatizing for an infant. Would you really want your child's first costume to be a flatulence fabricator? Though, on the plus size, it would generate some potentially embarrassing and black-mail worthy photographs. Think twice about that Ghost Rider costume, in fact, think twice about any costume relating to Nicholas Cage. Bullying is a hot button issue among parents and schools these days, causing many parents to think twice about the choices they make for their kids. So you may want to think twice before dressing your child up as a giant toilet. You would be better served affixing a giant red target to their back.
