NO CHILD FOR SALE 115 MILLION of the world's children are sold or trafficked into the SALE PRICE WORST FORMS OF CHILD LABOUR SALE PRICE - the 3-D jobs: DANGERUS D'RTY DEGRADING Dirty, dangerous and degrading jobs may include any job where a child is doing work that is likely to be hazardous, to interfere with the child's education, or to be harmful to the child's health or physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development. THIS TYPE OF WORK IS A FORM OF CHILD SLAVERY. The past 5 years has seen a 20% increase in the number of child labourers. 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 THERE ARE 215 MILLION CHILD LABOURERS WORLDWIDE 53% of child labourers work in 3D jobs. Of those children: 59% ARE IN AGRICULTURE Fishing, Forestry, livestock herding, commercial farming Dangerous equipment/breathing in dangerous chemicals and pesticides, little-to-no pay 30% ARE IN SERVICES XXX Sex trafficking, sex tourism, brothels, Domestic service, Nanny, housekeeping, fetching water and food, cleaning Long-term psychological damage, exposure to STDS. Abuse, little-to-no-pay, hidden from public view 11% ARE IN INDUSTRY Mining, Diamonds, gold, granite and other resources, Hard labour, Brick factories, stone quarries, Sweatshops, factories, manufacturing Risk of mine collapse, long hours, dangerous equipment. Body breaking labour, risk losing limbs, dangerous equipment. Abuse at hands of their captors, exhausting work, little-to-no pay Boys outnumber girls 2:1 among older children in hazardous work. Girls outnumber boys in domestic services.
