Every 40 seconds there is another report of someone under 18 missing or having been abducted. If you do the math, you'll find that equates to over 2,000 children every day. One child is slain for every 10,000 of those missing child reports, of which there are 800,000 a year. That's 80 kids a year. gone forever. Sadly, more than 1 of every 5 children who are reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children are eventually found dead. Of them, 74% were dead within 3 hours of the abduction.
