PERCENT, That's 25 million tons of extra waste, or about 1 million extra tons per week. FOLLOW THESE STEPS FOR A BEAUTIFUL GIFT! SUPPLIES NEEDED: RECYCLED WRAPPING PAPER Tip - Make sure any paper you choose can be recycled again! SCISSORS DOUBLE-SIDED A REUSED BOX WITH TAPE THE GIFT INSIDE STEP 1: CUT YOUR RECYCLED PAPER TO SIZE. Lay your wrapping paper face down and cut it just large enough so that it comes up a little over halfway on the sides and wraps all the way around with an inch of overlap. STEP 2: GET STICKY. Take a piece of double-sided tape and secure one edge of the paper, then take a long piece and lay it flush with the opposite edge of the paper. Fold paper inward over the box and stick it to lay flush with the edge of the box. STEP 3: FOLD THE OPEN ENDS. Push the overlapping paper down against one side of the box and hold while using your other hand to form a crease that matches the vertical edge of the box. Repeat this along the other edge. STEP 4: TAPE 3 FLAPS. Apply a piece of tape along the inside edge of the folds you just created and along the edge of the bottom flap. Fold both side flaps inwards. Once those are taped, fold the bottom flap upwards and stick it in place. Repeat steps 3-4 on the other end of the box.
