When we're looking to move or rent out a storage unit, we usually heavily rely on others to tell us the volume of our belongings. But what happens when there's a discrepancy between two different com... panies? What if you're just estimating costs? What if all the companies are using a different measurement system? MoveSouq's customers all had these queries looking for someone to just honestly help them in understanding how things are calculated by moving companies in Dubai and storage providers. So we set out to contact various movers in Dubai and sat down with their surveyors to get an understanding. After extensive research we were able to come up with a handy guide for all customers to understand estimated volumes before their big move. This infographic shows the equivalent of average sized 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom homes in terms of cubic meters, truck loads, and square feet. Movers tend to use cubic meters and truck loads, while storage companies in Dubai tend to use square feet.
