Gerard Butler's weight was unchanged for the 2007 historical action film 300. He did, however, embark on a grueling 4 month exercise regime to get in shape. This, coupled with a high protein diet, complex carbohydrates and gallons of water meant he lowered his body fat whilst building muscle.
