Developed by Praekelt Foundation and currently live in three countries, YoungAfricaLive is about Love, Sex and Relationships, in a time of HIV/AIDS. It targets 18-25 year olds, and consists of regularly updated stories, live MDG 6 data http://www.undp.org/content/undp/en/home/md goverview/mdg goals/mdg6/ The model is aimed at educating mothers living with HIV/AIDS by "Mentor Mothers," mothers living with HIV themselves, who have been trained to provide life-saving health education and psychosocial support to their peers using various mHealth solutions. The service is currently reaching approximately 300,000 women living with HIV/AIDS. Together with partners the plan is to reach 80%- 90% of all HIV infected women. (www.m2m.org) Hi4Life delivers trusted subscription-free health information through mobile phones on sexual and reproductive health, motherhood, fatherhood and baby care to provide general education and awareness. Information is delivered through SMS, USSD, Mxit and Data Services and is reaching over 100,000 South Africans.
