GET OFF YOUR BUTT Getting active doesn't require as much. time as you may think-only 30 minutes a day for adults and 60 minutes a day for children is sufficient. Find ways to add in or mix up daily activity and discover a healthier you. Regular physical activity can produce long-term health benefits. DRINK MORE WATER Water helps flush our systems of waste products and toxins, yet many people go through life dehydrated-causing tiredness, low energy and headaches. Drinking enough water can also help our skin look more healthy. Water also helps energize the muscles. Try drinking a glass or two immediately after waking up. GO EASY ON THE FRIES Small changes can make a big difference in your health. Try filling half of your plate with fruits and vegetables next time you eat for a healthier, more satisfying meal. Your food choices each day affect how you feel today, tomorrow and in the future. Rest and refresh. Get plenty of sleep. Go to bed at a regular time each day and practice good habits to get better sleep. Sleep restores both your mind and body. Remember to put your phone away and out of reach, so it doesn't distract you from getting a good night's rest.
