The Female Guide to Age-Specific Health Screenings Regular check-ups are necessary for women to protect themselves against injuries, illnesses, and diseases that can develop with age. For Soldiers, Periodic Health Assessments typically cover the basics, but you may need other screenings to catch and treat health risks early on. Take this list to your next check-up with your medical provider to make sure you are getting all the recommended screenings for your age. At every visit, talk with your provider about your personal medical history and update immunizations, as needed.
