REGISTER FOR 1 DO 10 PUSH-UPS OR SIT-UPS EVERY TIME FUN RACES Sign up either by yourself or with friends and family to do local runs or races. Join a 5K that raises awareness for a cause that's near YOUR FAVORITE TV CHARACTER SMILES Exercising doesn't have to be boring or routine. You can have fun with mini- workouts while watching your favorite TV show. ADD SOME ROCK AND ROLL TO YOUR ROUTINE KEEP YOUR RITUALS When you take the APFT, you may not have a mat or smooth surface to test on. Practice doing sit-ups and push-ups outside on the rocky ground. This will get your hands and back ready before test day. Don't change up your routine on test day. Doing something drastically different than what you're used to in the 24 hours leading up to your APFT can cause anxiety and poor performance. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT 810 SKIP THE BAR Every couple of weeks do a mock APFT. Set goals. Time yourself to see how long it takes to run two miles. Challenge yourself and count how many sit-ups and push-ups you can do in 2 minutes.
