a, uses a quarter of the world's hazelnut supply. That's right, 1 in 4 of the world's hazelnuts, that's the entire world, goes to making Nutella. Hazelnuts grow mostly in Turkey but Nutella can't just rely on Turkey because a bad harvest for them can cause global hazelnut shortages.
