THE GREEN DEAL A YEAR ON The Green Deal is a Government scheme which aims to improve energy efficiency in homes and bussinesses in the UK. This can be achieved by installing heating and ventilation, building fabric, lighting, water heating and microgeneration. The scheme enables the consumer to have such measures installed without paying any upfront costs, instead the costs are paid back through the electricity bill.
