BOOSTING PRODUCTIVITY WITH ΤHE HELP OF NATURE EVEN ENTREPRENEURS NEED TO TAKE SOME TIME OFF. BUT WHERE COULD THEY POSSIBLY G0? NATURE IS THE BEST PLACE TO BE IN. WHY GO GREEN? BECAUSE NATURE... RELIEVES STRESS STRENGTHENS SHORT-TERM MEMORY PROVIDES INSPIRATION IMPROVES CONCENTRATION BOOSTS CREATIVITY MAKES THE BODY HEALTHIER NATURE PROMOTES PRODUCTIVITY. BUT HOW DO YOU BOOST IT THIS WAY? ONCE YOU'RE OUTSIDE, WHAT ACTIVITIES SHOULD YOU TRY OUT? SITTING. Green, brown, and a host of other colors can improve your mood STANDING. while just lounging around. Why don't you add in some stretching? Simple exercises outdoors feel more refreshing. BREATHING. No need for a waterfall to meditate under. Place yourself in Mother Nature's care and be one with her. WALKING. Take a stroll in a garden, a park dotted with trees, or a street with a leafy canopy. HIKING. Partake in nature's silent harmony. For the more daring, take a day off and climb a mountain. The whole experience will be worth it (especially when you reach the summit). JOGGING. If you feel like sweating, take a few laps around a park. Inhale fresh air through the nose, and exhale through the mouth. RELAXING. Taking a break away from the hustle and bustle of the city refreshes the mind and body. It could even serve as a WORKING. mini-vacation. The concept of outdoor offices isn't novel, but the health benefits of working outside become more pronounced with every research. NOTHING. Do nothing except enjoy, marvel at, and appreciate nature's beauty. She can be unbelievably breathtaking. WHAT IF YOU CAN'T GO OUTSIDE? YOU HAVE A FEW ALTERNATIVES. Make your rooms green by bringing a few potted plants indoors. Evoke the feeling of being with nature even when inside the office. If not plants, then invest on furniture that are both environment-friendly and reminiscent of nature. Try a portable office you can easily set up outside. Don't let brick walls keep you boxed in. Everyone needs a breath of fresh air. Open a few windows and let the breeze waft through. Draw back your curtains and let the sunlight-or moonlight-in. Natural lighting can positively affect your mood. When you feel the pressure of work overwhelming you, The calming air, the serene mood, the quaint silence.
