Hollywood and the film industry absolutely love destroying landmarks in their films. it has a wide, emotive appeal. So many people around the world have travelled to the likes of the Taj Mahal, to Lon...
don, to see the Golden Gate Bridge. To see it get blown to bits evokes a emotional and saddening response. Just look at how quickly a billion dollars was raised for Notre Dame earlier this year. Must have been less than a week - that's how treasured these global icons are. In the Harry Potter series, the Millenium Bridge is completely destroyed by Dementors. The bridge cost £18 million to build, whilst Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince had a budget of £150 million! So you could argue that creating the destruction go these landmarks for the silver screen is as big of a project as constructing those landmarks in the first place. So why not send a postcard of the Dementor's destruction of Millenium Bridge? We made these postcards that depict that scene and other famous destroyed landmarks in a vintage travel poster style. If you like our postcard, then please feel free to send it to your sites or social media. All we ask in return is a source credit and link back to /www.vibrantdoors.co.uk/ - thanks!
