ne, specifically at 'the most depressing city in Europe' - Charleroi. Made up largely of uninspring industrial buildings,abandoned slag heaps and with a colour palette of a silent film from the 1920s, it's not majorly surprising Charleroi comes up time and again in the quest for the world's ugliest city. We thought Van Gogh might be able to bring some charm, warmth and class to an otherwise drab and neglected city.
