Gramophone Record, Also Called Vinyl Or Phonograph Record, A Disc-shaped Analogue Sound-recording Medium. Record Players Became Extremely Popular In The 60s And 70s When The First Turntable Was Released To Provide Stereo Playback. High-fidelity Sound Reproduction Hit The Scene and Motivated People To Add A Record Player To Their Home. The Cassette tape (also called as Compact Cassette, Compact Audio Cassette or Musicassette (MC), simply tape or cassette), is an analog magnetic tape recording format for audio recording and playback. It was developed in 1962. AUDIO CD Compact Disc Digital Audio (CDDA or CD-DA), also known as Audio CD, is the standard format for audio compact discs. The standard is defined in the Red Book, one of a series of "Rainbow Books" that contain the technical specifications for all CD formats. The first edition of the Red Book was released in 1980 by Philips and Sony, and then Super Audio CD (SACD), a read-only optical disc format for audio storage, was developed in 1999, and intended to be the successor to the Compact Disc (CD) format. 10 MP3, as a coding format for digital audio, was originally defined as the third audio format of the MPEG-1 standard. The combination of small size and acceptable fidelity led to a boom in the distribution of music over the Internet in the mid- to late-1990s, with MP3 serving as an enabling technology at a time when bandwidth and storage were still at a premium. YouTube Music streaming platforms have grown rapidly in popularity in recent years. SPEAKER TECHNOLOGY Over the last 100 years' course, the final element in the sound production series, the speaker driver, has changed very little. While the materials have improved, the underlying principle hasn't, a vibrating diaphragm which transfers sound energy into the air.
