Actors with the best chance to win an Oscar U.S. researchers analyzed the statistics of best actor nominations over 70 years The study found that in addition to acting talent and skill, there are a number of factors affecting the likelihood of nomination for the award: Number of films, released in a given year Film genre Films with serious subject matter -
