Study Abroad 2014-15 September Admissions : Step-by-Step Plan 2014 остовеR Research and shortlist the course and University that you want to study. Make note of the entry requirements. Start preparing for IELTS or GRE tests as required. NOvemBeR Start preparing your statement of purpose/SOP. Ask for recommendation letters. 1+2= Keep practicing for IELTS, GRE or GMAT exams, take as many mock tests as possible. DecemвеR Finalise the list of Universities you want to apply to. Start applying for scholarships. your study abroad tests – GRE, GMAT, IELTS etc. Take 2015 JANUARY Write sample SOPS; read it repeatedly until you are satisfied with the final copy. Get ready with application materials (Resume, Statement of Purpose,Letter of Recommendation, Transcripts/Financial Documents/Certificates etc..) to be sent to the universities. Start applying to Universities. FEBRUARY Reply promptly to all correspondence from Universities. Apply for education loans if required. MARCH - APRIL You'll start receiving admission letters from Universities. Contact the universities arnd student associations; they might be able to help you with accommodation and other needs. MAY - JULY Get ready financially. Apply for a visa. AUGUST - SEPTEMBER You will be on your flight out to your dream university if all goes as planned.
