You will get a band score for each skill of English language and you will also get an overview band score. The overall band score is the average score of all the skills. There is no limit on how many times you can take the test. If you are planning to study overseas, you should be writing the Academic IELTS test, whereas if you are planning to immigrate or work in a different country then you are required to take a general IELTS test.
