EDUCATION AND THE GLOBAL GOALS #FundEducation In September 2015, 193 world leaders will commit to 17 Global Goals for sustainable development to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and protect our planet by 2030. Education is essential to the success of every one of the 17 new goals. 2 GOOD HEALTH & WELL BEING GENDER EQUALITY NO POVERTY QUALITY EDUCATION ZERO HUNGER CLEAN WATER & SANITATION INDUSTRY, INNOVATION & INFRASTRUCTURE AFFORDABLE & CLEAN ENERGY DECENT WORK & ECONOMIC GROWTH SCHOOL 13 10 11 12 REDUCED INEQUALITIES RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION & PRODUCTION CLIMATE ACTION SUSTAINABLE CITIES 16 14 17 LIFE BELOW WATER LIFE ON LAND PEACE AND JUSTICE PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE GOALS EDUCATION REDUCES POVERTY AND INCREASES INCOME EDUCATION PREVENTS INEQUALITY & INJUSTICE GOALS 14 8 GOALS 5 10 16 One extra year of school increases earnings by?
