EAST AFRICA "North Star Alliance HEALTH CARE THAT MOVES Imagine a truck driver on the road from Mombasa, Kenya to Kigali, Rwanda. Before North Star, that driver would have had limited access to health care while working, which many do 26 days each month. For this reason, truck drivers and transport communities have been disproportionately affected by infectious disease and poor health. North Star Alliance is changing that by is building a network of clinics that span transport corridors throughout Africa providing lifesaving access to basic health care, prevention and treatment services.
