Major accomplishments included: developing new framework for identifying resources with the highest fitness for offshoring, creating a quantitative model to identify high-opportunity areas across 7k+ employees, and crafting Tableau dashboard to present savings in a live discussion attended by CEO. Integrated Healthcare Provider Network Analytics 9 months Led analytics team that supported 4 process workstreams across 23-person revenue cycle engagement. Key accomplishments included: creating a detailed dashboard which updated 160+ key metrics across 8 facilities automatically on a weekly basis, developing interactive Tableau utility which was presented to the CEO to show account payment trends, and measuring and tracking benefit realization using cash to charge ratio. Business Case IT Division of Global Investment Bank 4 months Responsible for business case modeling workstream of an $800M+ global outsourcing deal. The role primarily focused on: developing an RFP with 550+ separate price points to be sent to 14 vendors, compiling RFP responses into a complex Excel model, calculating several iterations of scenarios, sensitivity analysis, testing, and optimization, and building deliverables to support quantitative portion of vendor selection process. Go-Live Planning $10B+ Network of Non-Profit Hospitals 14 months Responsible for go-live planning of single EHR system implementation across network of 30 hospitals. Primary responsibilities included: developing go-live strategy, scheduling and coordinating 200 individual go-live resources, training and educating client resources, and creating an integrated Excel model to track patients who failed to cross to downstream systems (a serious patient safety issue). Merger of 3 Healthcare Facilities in KY Staffing Model 4 months Assisted with the construction of cost and staffing models for a pre-merger planned technology implementation. As part of this role, key tasks included: building a resource staffing model to track planned use of client resources during a 2-year implementation, managing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model for revenue cycle workstream, and utilizing IndustryPrint to assist with client design sessions. IT Department of Large Non-Profit Insurer Capacity & Demand 3 months Owned the construction, maintenance, and communication of Excel-based tools to help better predict internal demand. Key highlights of the role included: building an Excel tool to collect demand from 400+ client project templates, constructing user-friendly scorecards to show budget variance, and developing user guides and information sessions to prepare clients to manage these tools going forward. Physician Practice of $1B+ Hospital System Practice Utilization 9 months Assisted with a review of the client's ambulatory clinics and identified savings opportunities. As the lead on practice utilization, primary responsibilities included: building a utilization model to track patient throughput, identifying opportunities for co-location of practices through rigorous quantitative analysis, and presenting recommendations for $1.5M+ in savings to client leadership.
