HOW SWITCHING COULD SAVE YOUR BUSINESS Data was collected from 500 energy professionals in a survey carried out by Populas in November, 2012 . The results highlight a number of key issues related to energy and electricity savings. Did you know? Companies are at risk of paying 61% more for their electricity due to autorenewal. Companies do not realise that switching suppliers could save them a lot of money. Supplier Switching In the third quarter of 2012, there was a 20% drop in businesses switching suppliers. Less businesses were also planning to switch. 33% of microbusinesses 41% of small businesses 58% of medium businesses Those that have switched: 43% of businesses think there is no competition in the market and no point switching.
