A GUIDE TO PETA STYLE HELPING ANIMALS There are hundreds of ways to take actions for animals-just follow these guidelines to take your activism to a whole new level and become a more outspoken and effective advocate. Find your voice, and speak out today! GET HANDS-ON fake BUTTON UP FUR not leather Pin a button on your faux-fur coat or jacket to be an advocate for cruelty-free choices every time you wear it. WOW THEIR TASTE BUDS Share delicious and cruelty-free vegan food at family dinners, work events, and other functions. SPREAD THE WORD PETA Pin PETA leaflets and animal rights literature on bulletin boards at work and school, and leave it in places like your local gym's magazine rack, airplane seat pockets, or doctor's office waiting room to help spread the word! LOVE ME DON'T EAT ME LAY YOUR CARDS ON THE TABLE Get a few friends together and set up an information table in a busy area of town. Stock your table with fliers and factsheets, and get ready to have some great conversations! WALK THE WALK Show people how much you care by gathering your friends (or contacting local activists) and organizing a demonstration. Hand out leaflets, hold posters, and share the animal rights message! SPEAK UP FOR ANIMALS WHO ARE When people ask you why you don't eat animals, don't just call it "a personal choice." Instead, paint a vivid picture of cruelty to animals and explain how easy it is to go vegan! USED FOR FOOD Never let a fur-wearer pass you by without letting him or her know that USED FOR CLOTHING animals were beaten, electrocuted, or skinned alive for that fur. Write letters to companies that still conduct cruel experiments on animals, such as Nestea, buy products from companies that USED FOR EXPERIMENTATION ever test on animals. The next time the circus comes to town, be sure to tell friends and families with kids that trainers use bullhooks and electric prods to force animals to perform, and ask them not to go to the circus. USED FOR ENTERTAINMENT Always speak up if you see someone yelling at or yanking a dog on a leash or using a prong collar.
