Other geocachers obtain the coordinates from that listing site and seek out the cache using their handheld GPS receivers. The Dead Drop A USB cache or "dead drop cache" location has a USB drive embedded (with permission) into walls or other structures. The cache is retrieved by connecting a device that has a USB port and can read standard text files.
