Take a look at some facts about the number of boat and ship accidents reported and what are the main contributing factors of accidents. There are 12 MILLION recreational boats registered throughout the entire country. Every 2-1/2 hours someone is killed or injured in a boating accident. 7 out of every 10 boaters who drowned were using vessels less than 21 feet in length.
