Best European Football Teams in 2013 Best 10 teams in Europe Scores calculation system. Only matches in England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain championships are taken into consideration. The score is calculated with the following formula: (PpG*2 + AGF/AGA)*UEFA/10 - PpG =Points per game AGF = Average Goals For AGA = Average Goals Against UEFA = UEFA Coefficient, corrected in this way: Coefficient - (Coefficient - Average Coefficient)/2 The Average Coefficient is the average of the UEFA coefficients of the 6 countries. For example, Spain coefficient for 2012/2013 was 17,714 and the average was 14,998; the corrected coefficient is 17,714 - (17,714 - 14,998)/2 = 16,356! Two scores have been calculated: one from January 2013 until the end of 2012/13 season, and another from the start of 2013/14 season until the end of 2013.
