Are you a Caregiver? 65 that's 29% million%D of the U.S. population the number of caregivers today Are you or someone you love one of them? Mostly, we think of spouses, parents or adult children as caregivers-not siblings. If you have a brother or sister with a disability (and there are millions who do), this important role is likely in your future. Through a new study, Easter Seals wanted to learn more about these caregiving sibs and how their lives compare to those where neither sibling had a disability. Here's what we learned: emotional always It's not, Finand 23% of adult sibs are the primary caregiver for their sib with a disability. feel the strain on their family life 30% of them say they don't receive support from other friends and family. ttttttk 2.
