Most good quality carpet manufacturers recommend that home carpets are professionally cleaned every 12-18 months. Carpets should be cleaned on a regular basis before they become heavily soiled. Q. What machines do you use? A. All of our cleaning operatives are equipped with Prochem Steempro 200o Powermax carpet cleaning machines. The Steempro Powermax combines dual 3-stage vacuum power with a 15opsi pump and in-built silencer. Q. What cleaning method do you use for carpet cleaning? A. Hot water extraction is the most safe and effective method of carpet cleaning. A cleaning agent is injected into the carpet fibre and then extracted with a powerful vacuum system. Q. Can you remove all stains? A. We can remove tea stains, coffee stains, chewing gum, candle wax and other stubborn stains. We can also apply carpet protection, deodoriser, moth treatment and repair cigarette burns. Q. Is there a risk of shrinkage? A. Unless your carpet is installed incorrectly, it is very unlikely that the cleaning process will cause your carpet to shrink. Our operatives carry out a full SHRINKAGE inspection prior to any cleaning and test for potential problems such as shrinkage. Q. How long will it take you to clean my carpets? I 12 A. Most carpets APACH are dry within 2-6 hours of cleaning. We carry high power portable dryers on each job to ensure quick drying times. Q. Do you move my furniture? A. Yes. We move all of your furniture and clean where possible. Our equipment can get in to the tightest of spaces ensuring your carpets are thoroughly cleaned. Q. What should I do before your cleaners arrive? A. It would be helpful if prior to our arrival you can remove any items on the floor and from areas to be cleaned. If you have valuable items that will require moving, could you move these to a safe location.
