4 Things Every Great Website Needs

Four Things #Every Great Website Needs Are you a small business struggling to find new customers? Worried you're falling behind your competitors? Then answer this: do you have your own website? A website is essential for any business hoping to be a success. Operating without one is like fishing without the bait. Your lines out but you aren't going to draw any attention. Perhaps you have a website already but it just isn't doing anything for you. That might be because of the design or maybe it's just dated. Whatever the reason, websites can be daunting. Especially for the not-so-tech-savvy people out there. So to help, we're going to break things down and tell you four things that every great website must have. #1 Simple navigation Navigating a website should be as easy as possible. Make it difficult for customers to find products, services, or contact pages and they'll switch off your competitor. So straight off the bat, the websites design should be focused around navigation. The easier it is to use, the longer your customers will stick around. and go #User-friendly website Great content Content is often overlooked on websites. People focus so much on design that they forget that they have to convey a clear message to whoever's visiting the site. You need to tell them what kind of business you operate, why they should choose you, and how they can do it. And they need to do that quickly and concisely. #2 NEWS It isn't an easy thing to do. In fact, it might end up being the hardest part of building your site. Take your time with. Put yourself in your customers' shoes – What do they want to find? What kind of business do they want to work with? #Content Make yourself an attractive prospect. Contact information So make your phone number and email visible. All the time. Put it in the footer, in the header, and in the content. Chances are, if a customer is interested in dealing with you, they'll want to speak to someone directly. Whether that's through email or over the phone doesn't matter. They need to be able to pick out your contact details from anywhere on the website. #4 Good Hosting The minute your website goes down, you lose not just the customer but their faith in you too. If you offer products to tradesmen, they probably rely on your site to get the materials to get a job done. So don't let them down with bad hosting. Bad hosting might mean that your websites slow too. It can be the most frustrating thing on earth, a slow website. So don't let it happen to yours.
